LOL, I can't wait till they do it on their own. I do worry about my camper getting back in good shape, though.
Okay, can you believe that the SIL expected me to pay half the camping fees even though I bought the food and furnished them with an $8,000 camper not counting all the accessories?
Spoiled brats, they are. I am passing torch. I am not the parent of people in their thirties any longer. Both of them make a good salary and still expect a free ride from their parents.
BAH!

You didn't tell them drip drip drip? What in the world does this mean? Remember, I am not from California.
To: westmex
Westy, since you responded to my post of camping, I must confess that I told the grandkids about you. I really did. Do you want to know what I told them?
To: Conservababe
Old ghost story.
Goes something like: Old woman sleeping in bed with her beloved dog at the foot of the bed.
She hears a faucet dripping.
Gets up in the dark, pets her dog, goes to the kitchen to turn off the tap.
Comes back, pets her dog and lays down.
Drip drip drip.
Gets up in the dark, pets her dog, goes to the guest bathroom to turn off the tap.
Comes back, pets her dog and lays down.
Drip drip drip.
(keep repeating with various faucets throughout the house)
Finally she exhausts everything she can think of in the house.
Comes back, pets her dog and lays down.
Drip drip drip.
Finally she thinks to herself -The shower! She gets up in the dark, pets her dog, goes to the bathroom to turns on the light and looks in the shower.
There she sees her dog hanging from the shower nozzle, torn open and dripping blood.
That was the dripping she'd heard all night.
Now, what do you suppose she was petting all that time???

OMG...that might be a little too scary for the grandkids. LOL
But, you know , most ghost stories are antiquated in our children's minds. I started to tell them of the man with the hook for an arm that was left on the car door handle before I realized that they would not understand.
To: Darksheare; Borax Queen
Ahem.
When the aquarium doesn't work, the bill could get pretty extravagant.
Note on bottom of bill: Pay up or be chum.

Well........we went up towards that L of S place for the sunset........and it was beautiful, absolutely beautiful. What I couldn't appreciate in the heat of the day was awesome in the evening. The mountains make a great horizon, the sunset was really nice.
Can't believe I'm saying something nice about Mordor......

"I do have a lovely large aquarium on hand for when a certain finned friend visits." Oh, I do wish I could create some good graphics. That just gives me the most amusing mental image of Gran's 4-ft nerd shark stuffed into a 3-ft. tank with his nose mashed against the glass.

Awesome - thanks for the nice description! Ah, the enchantment process is working :)

We totally need graphics. Maybe the tank being transported in a semi across irradiated landscape...

Glad you're back Gran......how did you handle the woods?
I am presuming that the two of you, being the *ahem* moderators will chastise the two females who are harrassing the *innocent* shark.
It's time to clean up this thread!
