Just checking in. I couldn't log in while I was in Colorado. Dawn's computer is WORTHLESS! Actually, it's her roommate's computer. Appears to have been completely hijacked by pop-ups and Lord only knows what other malicious stuff. I gave up.

Just got to my dad's this evening. It was a LONG trip. Had to stop fairly often with the boy, and since I'm not allowing food or drinks in my car, we had to hang out for awhile every time we stopped for something, besides having to stop for meals, gas and such. We got a room at 5:30 this morning so I could sleep for a few hours and Tyler could sleep in a real bed for a bit instead of the car. We went to eat at the place where my sis has her second job. I'm tired!

We had a great time in Colorado. Spent Sunday at the Renaissance Festival. Spent all day on the Fourth in Manitou, shopping, etc. Had supper there and stayed through the fireworks. Did more shopping on Monday. Met the boyfriend. Will reserve judgement for now. I plan to do as little as possible tomorrow, but my sister was talking about going downtown. Will probably drink some blue thingies. We go to the lake on Saturday. I decided not to do Georgia. All the driving is pretty rough on Tyler, although he's handling it pretty well. I don't think an extra 20 hours or so is a good idea right now. I might just take a long weekend this fall and go visit my friends. Would've been nice to take Tyler to the beach though.

I didn't realize how badly I needed a vacation!

Will definitely keep the dress handy.

So what's been going on here?

"Sweets, you're not even gone a week and Gran has you in her sights......."

So I see. That's okay. I know how she is. Keeps her out of trouble, ya know.

So good to see your tagline come up. Glad the trip is going well so far and that you're getting some rest. The good news is Gran is scared of meeting bears in the woods and she's going easy on you.

the bad news, I'm sure you've heard is that the *&*&)(*^* MOOSE LIMBS did it again.........and of course.......it's our fault....

*rolling eyes heavily*

Libby, it is so good to hear from you. I can tell you are having a great time with your family, especially Tyler. Don't shop till you drop, though.

"Glad the trip is going well so far and that you're getting some rest"

Well, "rest" might be a bit strong. I've done so much walking that my legs were screaming after 3 days of it. Won't hurt me none though. I needed the exercise.

Mostly I've made a point of avoiding anything that is going to upset me or get me stressed out, including the news, but yes, I did see the preview in London of events coming soon to a location near us...if we don't get rid of this plague of Muslims in this country. Of course, we won't. Better that hundreds of thousands of Americans die than that one demon possessed Islamic be offended, ya know. < /sarcasm >

Got that one right. PC to the max. I do think we had another wake up call, which our PC friends will soon start working towards putting us backto sleep again.

Seal the borders, deport anyone that even hints of association with the bstds........

I'm thinking on giving it some of my coffee.
But I'm afraid that might make it go warp speed and we'll never find it again after that.
