Having to bring work home sux! Still, stuff that requires some cohesive thought is virtually impossible to get done at the office. Too much going on and WAY too many interruptions. It'd take me all day at the office to do what I can do in an hour at home.
I got assigned a new case today so I have to go to court in the morning...which means that I have to try and get my 8 AM staffing done in half an hour or less in order to get to the next county where the hearing is being held. *Grumble*
How is your eveing going? Hot here!

Wow...summer is here, the pool is up in the 80's like the temps, and I just bought a truckload of plants and flowers.
Now if I can only get them in. With this heat I'd better wait until evenings.

Come'on - 80 would be a cold front down here. But be smart, we don't need anyone stroking out on us.
Back to writing some more checks.

I just about had an "incident" at work this morning. I had a staffing on one of my kids who had just gotten back from a couple of days at a youth conference. Anyway, the discussion got around to this boy that she met there who was calling her. She was saying that he was just a friend and that she would never go out with a black guy; to which one of my more obvioulsy democrat co-workers says, "sounds like you meed a little cultural diversity education." I just about came unhinged, but thought better of it and simply said, very firmly, "you do NOT want to go there."
It was just so totally inappropriate and I may confront her about it later. These diversity drones obviously have no sense of personal choice at all...unless it is the choice to kill a baby. I don't see interracial dating as either good or bad, in and of itself, but I do see it as a choice that is off limits to government interference. I also do not see imposed diversity as a good thing at any level.

imo, you are correct and your co-worker is a nitwit.
The allure of inter-racial relationships, much less marriage and children, totally escapes me. It's tough enough without throwing in the race card.
Hang in there - it's hump day.

Yep. Perfect timing for a "rant" ping because I was just telling Loddy how we got another long message today in our email, promoting "gender questioning identity" and how corporations are pushing the govt. to pass certain laws, granting more benefits to you-know-who's.
Meanwhile on my other favorite topic, the cover page of our paper warns about non-Mexican "entrants". WTF is an entrant? Entering a contest? And shouldn't we be concerned about all the Middle Easterners and others in our country, illegally running loose?
To: Borax Queen
Entrants my ass.
This is why people are turning away from the lame stream news in droves. They see their country being turned into a balkanized, pc, taxed to death, hell-hole and are sick to death of it.

I'd love to chat, but I can hear the non-English-speaking cleaning people coming... Para Ingles, oprima numero tres.
:)
I didn't hire them.
