Had kids most of it, tried to go to a local pow wow, way too much traffic. Daniel wanted to get home early to his new hamsters. Ended up doing yard work. Yuck.

I was over at my inlaws where the tension in the air was so think, you could cut it with a knife

That is one screwed up and selfish family and the way they treat my mil .. I'd smack them upside their heads

Then ... after dinner, Mike's niece and her step sister played the game Life with my kids ... the gay version with 2 mommies in one car and 2 daddy's in another car

Just like the rest of the stupids reporters of the world know about nothing else how the world works......... but their own bias!

This nitwit frightens the creature and than stumps it to death!

I wonder if one of the Alphabet Groups like PETA will protest......

but than it like asking NOW gals to fight for Terri Schiavo....

I feel sad for the squirrel and the family to witness such an act!

A Billion

The next time you hear a politician casually use the word "billion",
think about whether you want that politician spending your tax money.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but recently one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into perspective:

-- A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
-- A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
-- A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
-- A billion days ago no living being on the earth walked on two feet.
-- A billion dollars lasts only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate the US
government spends it.

Good Morning everyone. Is everyone over their looooong weekend?

Whew!, now I'm waiting for some spring, not summer, just spring weather..;) Hopefully we'll get some soon.

We had an absolutely perfect weekend. I didn't do much. I was invited to go spend the weekend on a friend's boat and I was invited to a fish fry and for the music in the park in Yellville. I just wanted to not have to do anything!

Nice, warm desert picture, Gran.

Sounds like you made one hell-of-a-choice.;) We had a good time, but I'm very glad it's all over.

Never cooked out except for a few hotdogs for the kids. The weather was too iffy to even plan on for that. Had a nice ham dinner inside with all the kids and dogs, lol. Of course it was Al's birthday too, so lots of 'juices' around.
