I said it before - the way the goofy groom is acting and was never once upset I think they were in on this together for the purpose of a made for TV movie - a book etc. I thought from the onset the groom was either very odd not once upset but rather grooving on all of it something else was happening. She cuts her hair all of it and they proclaim their love - it just doesn't jive. I bet we find out it was planned out.

No way. Lots of Southerners do not show their emotions. They look like nothing bothers them when in fact they have a lot of emotions and intelligence running underneath. When I was in college, I had a German professor who was city planner in the Southern city I was from. He told me how he hated it because he could never tell what was going on. This man is the real deal. He's protecting his fiance and certainly had nothing to do with her disappearance. He's too much of a gentleman to show the world how this has affected him.
