We could find out today if the runaway bride, who ended up in Las Vegas, will face criminal charges for lying to police about being kidnapped.

News 3's Kirstin Linquist reports that she could spend up to five years in prision, pretty bad yes, but that's nothing compared to what she is facing from friends and family.

Wilbanks is staying out of sight at her parent's house but is expected to finally make a statement today.

A question she may answer is was this planned? We found out that the ticket to Las Vegas was purchased days before she disappeared.

While in Las Vegas, Wilbanks stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Sources close to News 3 say she used her fiancees last name when she checked in.

The two were have supposed to marry that Saturday.

And she cut her hair short, which no woman would do if she was still going to be married to the guy in Georgia.

"I thought from the onset the groom was either very odd not once upset but rather grooving on all of it "

You may be onto something. He was more excited that he was gonna be on "Hannity" than he was when she was "found"...

Something does not add up here, I want to hear what she has to say...

I'm with you. But I suppose she is "lawyered up" by now.

And while I keep hearing that word "regret" from her fiance and family members, I still haven't heard that phrase "I'm sorry" from her.

What you're not aware of is the underlying motive for all this supposedly idiotic behavior by Jennifer and her philandering lover... Sgt. Danial Coburn !!! Judge Greer has granted Danny a sneaky little divorce so he and Jenny can run away to Cuba, there to actively participate in the management of a Cuban cigar company that's owned by conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh !!!

... and adopt Elian Gonzalez, who will grow up to be the President of Aztlan some day. Embattled Tom DeLay will end up dating President Hillary Clinton and becoming the First Gentleman, and he will serve at a US diplomat to Aztlan.

I don't know how she managed to check in to ANY major Casino rHotel in Las Vegas without some sort of ID?

I've never tried to pay cash for a room. But you'd think they would require a Credit Card to guarantee against damage to the room?

She could have made reservations ahead of time and paid with a credit card that way?

PS..since she checked in using his last name, then she must have charged his credit card ahead of time over the phone, or computer.

That's the whole point. She obviously couldn't get far, so the plan from the beginning was to stage the "kidnapping" to avoid the wedding.

I have a theory that she had one of Mason's credit cards. That would explain why she used the name Mason to buy the bus tix. Also, i don't know that you can use cash to pay for a hotel room in Vegas. Can you? Or is a credit card required?

Yes, she planned it perfectly.

I read on line that Treasure Island provides free Transportation from the Greyhound station..

If she did charge things, I don't know what the ceiling on the card she used was, but she may well have gone over the limit. Or lied about running out of money.

Alot we don't know yet.

You can pay cash for rooms and not even own a credit card, I have... I don't know about requiring ID, don't remember, but Las Vegas has been advertising the slogan "What happens here, stays here".

Now that makes sense, a free shuttle from the bus station to Treasure Island.

Really? But I'm certain a ID is required, for all kinds of reasons.

Unless it's a no-tell motel :~)

Just for the heck of it, I checked Treasure Island's websites for room rates -- cheapest I could find for a room tonight (short notice) is $139 per night. For many of the more prestigious hotels, unless they have a lot of rooms available, they will charge you a lot more if you walk in off the street.

I can't say whether the Strip hotels would accept cash -- some "off-Strip" motels I'm sure do. If you reserve via internet or telephone, you have to provide a credit card unless this was business and your company had a corporate account with the hotel.

If she did stay at Treasure Island and she had only $150 or so on her, and she paid cash for her room, that wouldn't leave her a lot of money left over. No...more I think about this, the more I believe this was pre-planned.

BTW, my husband and I get free room comps at the Grand, Horseshoe and Goldstrike in Tunica.

Even tho our room is FREE, they always take our charge card info.
