When I was at home yesterday I got the message you left for me there. Thank you very much. I deeply appreciate your friendship.
Just so you know I'm not "Little Miss Perfect", I had to throw a Hissy Fit at the meeting I attended earlier this afternoon.
It was a pretty important meeting. I had called the meeting and several people had to change their schedules around to attend, so I didn't feel right about postponing it to meet my convenience.
Unfortunately, I had asked those people to do certain things and to obtain certain information and bring it to the meeting. Most importantly, I had asked them to make some changes to a 'game plan'. They didn't follow my directions.
So I threw a fit. There were no ashtrays in the room, so I threw a pen instead and told them to go back and do what I told them to do the first time.
They will not try to run over me next time. There's always the chance that there will be something larger than a pencil available for me to throw.
Wasting money and time on meetings where absolutely nothing is accomplished really grates on my nerves. SOMETHING was accomplished at this meeting. We established that if I tell someone to do something, it danged well better happen or there'd better be a darned good excuse.
