Rep Tom DeLay will be giving the keynote speech at the NRA convention in Houston. FoxNews will be covering it.
shewhomustnotbenamed is my guess
My sister told me she wanted me to watch Tom Delay and tape him on Fox tonight starting at 9pm. I have been watching for an hour and half. Eyes held open with toothpicks.
*snort*
You're really blessed in OK.
By default the Looney Left, but if there is some rumblings coming from within the party, I'd be damned ashamed right about now.
There's a lot of loonies outside in that rabid lynch mob. I hope none of them infiltrate inside. Mob participants feed off each other and tend to become more aggressive as demonstration time goes by. You never know what they will do.
(.....although, I doubt if they're nuts enough to infiltrate the rifle association crowd, heheh.)

I think that Soros is behind everything right now--with his money and influence--
I think their #1 job is obstruct every nominee that Bush puts up---in fact I heard today that Evan Bayh put a hold on a Secretary of something, so that makes 4 holds on cabinet level nominees that are already on hold, not counting Bolton and Negroponte and the judicial nominees.
BTW, on another thread I saw a link to michael moore's page that had an article in the Los Angeles Times that says that now Hagel is starting to balk at voting Bolton out of committee because of some kefuffle over one of his aides, but the aide didn't report it to him---Soros group did, through Dodds or Biden.
Thank You,Kind Lady!
Thank you for the ping---I am looking forward to this speech, I just wish it would get started already!!!
Whenever I see that guy - I just want to scream .. he's disgusting. He's just a big bag of hot air.
Geraldo 24/7.
JD Hayworth has been out in the forefront of the illegals issue, and I know Coburn has been as well. It's nice to see Inhofe and Allen, two others I have respect for, in there mixing it up as well.
"I'm wondering about the prolonged delay in DeLay's speech. I hope everything is okay."
I am sure it is, it sounds more like FoxNews for some strange reason may have decided not to carry it live afterall, but they are too chicken to say it.
Earlier they had a Fox News Alert: Awaiting DeLay's speech, then it disappeared and haven't seen it in the past 20 min.
Me too - I hope he hits it out of the park and the place goes bonkers - maybe that will discourage anymore repubs from from becomming a mouthpiece for the dems.
We want a speech ! We want a speech !
And while we are waiting, I was looking at articles and found one, that had a poll:
"The NRA's public image might be right on target these days. According to a Gallup poll released yesterday, the 4 million-member organization appeals to the majority of the country. Six out of 10 Americans say they view the group positively, according to the poll of 1,010 adults, conducted April 4-7.
"Favorable impressions of the NRA go beyond gun owners. The current 60 percent favorable rating is much higher than the 40 percent of Americans who told Gallup they have a gun in their home," Gallup analyst Lydia Saad noted.
This is the highest favorable rating the NRA has received since Gallup began tracking the group in 1993, when it garnered a 55 percent approval. "

It's the "attack Bush" liberal cannibals, of course. All insanely inspired by the same motive.
No matter what the issue is or who is involved, always follow the Hate Bush Trail....always.
