Rep Tom DeLay will be giving the keynote speech at the NRA convention in Houston. FoxNews will be covering it.
I didn't see the interview you are referring to, but do you know if the "Barton" you are talking about is a House Rep?
I ask because my representative to the House is Joe Barton. He is pretty conservative also....

I didn't know she was pregnant! I have to tell you, that girl just is soooo not the greatest invterviewer that I usually mute the TV or do my shopping when she is on, but I didn't know why she was gone---
Well, I hope everything works out well and she has a healthy baby---I guess we'll just have to see if she comes back after maternity leave---

I didn't see what FNC did with their coverage .. but as for what I'm seeing on the NRA website .. Delay seems to be staying on topic of the evening and talking about everyone's right to the 2nd amendment .. about how great it is to live in a free America
Fox kept promoting this speech all day---they promoted it like it would be seen Live and the whole thing---at least that's how I took it and I do believe a lot of FReepers thought so also---
We had two threads started for the Live telecast---well, Geraldo was on at the time, went to the speech for about 2 minutes, then had Bob Beckel and Cheri Jacobi on to TALK OVER the speech and analyze it---and it had just started.
Anyway, then Geraldo said that they would go BACK to the speech IF anything important was said....
Then he proceeded to discuss that poor girl in Floridas case for about the 10th hour today...
Needdless to say, I think Fox got a lot of angry e-mails tonight---and mine was one of them..LOL
BTW, I thought running around with the kids and stuff was supposed to keep us "young"?
