Pretty much. I mean, the fact that they couldn't actually get it to work sort of says it all. "Attention, everyone! We have this theoretical exploit, one that we haven't actually been able to exploit, but it's theoretically possible that if the planets align and it's a Tuesday and you twirl around while jamming a fork into your eyeball, it might possibly conceivably do something bad to your system." IOW, I'm not losing any sleep over it ;)

I like the part about them offering to demonstrate for Apple... and Apple essentially saying "don't call us, we'll call you." or "Ho, hum." Their basic understanding of permissions on OSX seems a bit flawed.

On the other hand, their publishing this MAY attract someone a little more competent...
