The man who put his reelection on the line by removing Saddam in defiance of virtually the whole world. I don't know the man. But, seems like, I'd like him in a fight. Sorry, as much as I respect the pres. for walking the walk against Saddam, he gambled on the success of the American military and that is bet that he is most likely to win. American presidents who successfully wage war usually do quite well at the polls.
he stormed the hospice, he would be feeding into every stereotype the world has portrayed him as. How, does that effect his Presidency, and in turn, are major interests in the world?
And THAT would have taken courage. He displayed little, as did Jeb Bush. Clinton went into little Havana in Miami with a fully armed tactical unit. He stuck a gun in a baby's face. I hated Clinton for it, but it displayed more guts than Pres. Bush did here. Furthermore, I am not alone among conservatives in my criticism of the president here.
If the the pubs lose the '06 election it will be because they did not take on the judiciary and effect real change. How can he impose his will on the judiciary if he will not take a stand? It is d*mned frustrating.
I fully expect him to let this woman die- hoping she will die quickly so the country's collective memory will forget and move on to another issue. Matter of fact, I bet most of the republicans in the senate are praying for exactly the same thing.

More evidence that people with shoe-sized IQs can actually string words into a sentence, no matter how ridiculous the sentence.

Nac,
The point of the post is that the only way to save Terri is via a bipartisan Mercy Coalition and assessing blame now is not doing anything to help Terri. We're wasting time, time that should be directed at contacting Dem politicians and appealing their to their sense of morality and conscience.
Clinton stormed little Elian because the press gave him a free ride. But let's give you your way. Bush storms the hospice and takes her into some form of protective custody. The media blows it into a constitutional crisis, and says Bush is running a police state. We lose the majority, and all the things, I presume, you would want a Pub congress to enact- pro-life, less active judiciary, etc--- So, the end result is we save Terri, but continue again down the road of activist judges and the death culture for generations to come.
You come to the decision your conscience dictates, but look to the future, and see what your actions foretell.
Please know, I respect your view.
