I've been touting Owen for Bond for the past four years. He's got the acting chops, the sense of humor, the cruel "I'll kill you" smile...
And with Casino Royale being the next flick, if they're serious about going back to basics, Owen is the perfect choice...

I always thought "Casino Royale" would have been one of the best Bond movies if they had played it striaight and by the book instead of that awful bomb they made in the 70's.
IMO there hasn't been a decent Bond movie made in 30 years or so.

He doesn't look like a bad choice. It all went down hill for me after Connery. I grew up with him.
Was just getting used to Brosnan and now he is gone.
