I didn't say that only "my" petetion was of any value. If you read that into my remarks, you did it because you wanted to do so.

As to my dismissal of the counter-arguments, address them from the spiritual frame of reference, not a carnal, worldly frame, and you won't have to feel "dismissed", because that is my frame of reference.

The Scripture I cited is not inappropriate. It applies to every aspect of the Christian's life, as does the following reference:

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Heb. 4:14)

You want a worldly, carnal "logically reasoned debate". There are many of those here that you may participate in. From me, however, all you'll get is the Light of God's Word shining into every dark place, exposing every secret intent.

What is happening in Florida is warfare in the spiritual plane, and only spiritual weapons have any positive effect.

I am sorry you cannot see it.

Reason is a gift of God. The notion that faith and reason are somehow incompatible is a vicious rumor spread by a malicious Enemy who likes nothing better than to relegate the idea of faith to the level of mindless superstition in the view of nonbelievers. Thus, in my view, disdaining reason as a thing of the 'carnal, worldly frame' is the spiritual equivalent of running away from a fight because you disapprove of the weapons at your disposal. Speaking in amorphous platitudes in lieu of taking it to the opposition with fierce intellect and unassailable argument plays right into his spiteful, bloodstained hands.

'All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing.' Playacting the holy man constitutes doing nothing. So come down from the mountaintop, put on that armor Paul talked about, and fight.
