To state the fact that the world is loaded with people who do not "recognize and submit to God's sovereign authority" is not being humble? How is it prideful to publicly acknowledge that one's life continues only at the behest of his Creator? Stating that "man's wrath does not work righteousness" is Scriptural Truth.
In my experience, it is the unsaved and the carnal Christians who react in such a manner, because they recognize their own sin being exposed in the confessions of another.
Whatever does not come from faith is sin. (Romans 14:23)

To state that only your 'petition to the Throne of Glory' has weight with the Lord is the height of hubris. Further, you find that those who might disagree with your views are 'the unsaved and carnal Christians'. How convenient. Such a stance allows you to dismiss any counter-argument out of hand since, as you know, anyone who differs with you is automatically one of the wretched damned.
I detest it when someone couches sloppy thinking in smug, high-sounding prose complete with vaguely inappropriate Scriptural references. Can't defend your position in a logically reasoned debate? No problem. Invoke a suitable-sounding Biblical verse and move on.
