Sorry, Washington_minuteman, but the pompous, self-righteous blather you're posting deserves all the flames it gets. I mean, come on: "...the reality is that, I, and those of us who recognize and submit to God's sovereign authority, can only rightly come boldly before the Throne of Grace, because man's wrath does not work righteousness, bearing our petitions that Terri's life might be spared." Submission to the Lord requires humility, and I see precious little of that in your rambling screed.
And churchillbuff? Why the vanity? There are seemingly innumerable Schiavo threads going on all over Free Republic. Feeling a little lost in the crowd? No one paying attention?

To state the fact that the world is loaded with people who do not "recognize and submit to God's sovereign authority" is not being humble? How is it prideful to publicly acknowledge that one's life continues only at the behest of his Creator? Stating that "man's wrath does not work righteousness" is Scriptural Truth.
In my experience, it is the unsaved and the carnal Christians who react in such a manner, because they recognize their own sin being exposed in the confessions of another.
Whatever does not come from faith is sin. (Romans 14:23)
