Stay Safe Valerie !!
Thanks for the ping Valerie! These photos are breathtaking. Amazingly, I was trying to finish up a roll of film just this past Saturday. I walked around my yard taking shots of beautiful blooming azaleas and dogwoods trying to frame the pictures as artistically as possible. I commented to myself "Think of ValerieUSA's work!" And then I get this ping. Thanks again.
WOW have certainly enjoyed your fabulous photography.....Make a person want to get a better camera and take a few shots....You're both inspiration personified.
What a great idea for a weekly theme.
Please put me on your ping list.
LOL! Might as well have been, but it's only the Jersey shore. If I recall correctly, we barely broke 10 degrees that day, as is usual on the heels of a major snow storm. The wind comes howling out of the northwest at around 40-50 mph, and it's normally a good day to stay indoors curled up on the couch with a dog lying on your feet - unless you're nuts like me. :-)
I just wish the colors had come through a bit better on those.

Thanks for the ping!
Yes.
But I need to commission a sunrise/sunset photograph looking due west now (within a few days of the spring or fall equinox).
Then in June 22 (or close) the same shot, same background, showing the mid-summer soltice position.
Then, in mid-winter, where the winter soltice sunset is.
Best would be a time-motion shot showing my customers the angle of the sun as it sets, since I want to use the shots to sell armillary spheres and sundials.

But, is each shot a couple of hundred dollars? Couple of dozen? Free? (grin!)

How precious!
