It's been very impressive. There might have been one more step JEB could have taken, but it would not have stood for long. Life was outmaneuvered. Moving forward, changes need to be made to make this impossible.
Absent a writing, err on the side of life. That's the first reform. There's a dozen more, but that must be first.
As frustrated and angry, and deeply grieved as I am with the ongoing murder of Terri Schiavo, I am also grieved at the assaults against the people who have tried to save her. And I am grieved by the evil I have seen on this forum (from those on both sides of the argument), and I believe that this is spiritual warfare such as we have not seen in America.
If we blame the problem on the Bushes and the Republican party, and use them as scapegoats, we are missing the crux of the problem, which is a deep spiritual void in most American's lives, and a complacency among Christians that allowed this situation to get this far, and the secondary problem which is the usurpation of legislative power by the judiciary.
We MUST be in prayer, for strength, and wisdom for both Jeb and President Bush, and for our nation. We are in a fierce battle here, but the war will not be over, even if we lose here.
We must continue our prayer for the soul of America.
Well said! Praying with you!
Thank you.
I just wish & pray that this event will also have an ending which will grorify our God.
HIS will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Amen to that!
I just hope that the true Christians (as opposed to the myriad of trolls posing as Christians to stir up trouble), who blame the Bushes for this, will not forsake their prayers for these fine men.

Amen, ohioWfan.
OhioWFan,
I certainly hope that you are right. The Christian world in this nation has been in worse shape before. In the late 1700s, some of the colleges such as Princeton and Yale, that had Christian in them. Then Revival came. So yes, we are ready for revival.
But, with the world scene being as it is, and the prophetic timeclock ticking along - I can't help but think judgment is not far away. Will America be completely destroyed. I can't definatively foresee that in Scripture. But I also know that God is not mocked.
I pray for Terri. I pray for this nation. And I pray that God will be glorified.
Praying with you, ohio. Nothing is too difficult for our Lord.
With you in prayer, Blogger.
God will bring glory to Himself through this, Blogger, and I praise Him for that. We just need to be faithful in prayer, and in word and deed to honor Him with our lives.
Amen!
Also we must change the absolute authority of the judicial branch. Laura Ingraham talked about that on her radio show the other day. I have been hearing her talk about the problem of activist judges and I didn't really pay much attention until now -- they are leading us in the March of Death -- First legalized abortion, now legalized death -- death by mandate. The three branches of the govt are supposed to be equal. In this case, the judiciary branch has said to the Congress and President Bush, F@#k you! We're the gods in this country. THIS HAS GOT TO CHANGE! It's not govt "BY THE JUDGES" but "BY THE PEOPLE!"
It has always been postulated that politics will be the death of us. Now I understand the full meaning of that mimicry....
Terri's parents are pointing their finger at Gov. Bush. Gov.Bush and the President are watching the polls; and if the polls show more believe the government should stay out of this tragedy; then that will be how the President and Gov. Bush will play this out.
We can go into Iraq and Afghanistan to save lives of men, women and children we do not know nor will ever meet; but we cannot save our Terri Schrivo, the victim of a terrible injustice.
Should Jeb Bush run for President; he will never secure my vote.
A friend and I were talking...
He could be hero...
He could walk up to that hospice himself and put the tube in... what are they going to do? Arrest him? I would like to see that.
he would get my vote if did this, but I am afraid that he is watching polls, and when did polls get you to do the right thing?
For a long time now, I knew the Republicans did have guts, but I was hoping this case would change everything... confront the Arrogant Judiciary... but no, they backed down again... like they backed down against the filibusting of judges.... like they backed down on everything.
Pray for W, Jeb and Terri
