These people must be under enormous stress. I saw them make their statement right after being introduced by Mr. Terry. It seemed to me that these were two people who were being advised by Mr. Terry (and others) that Governor Bush has the legal authority to protect their daughter and, if that advice were correct, then their statement would be justified. Their desire to believe that advice is, under the circumstances, understandable.

However, if the truth is that Governor Bush does not have the legal authority to intervene, then he is no more responsible for not intervening than any of us are. ;-)

Bottom line is, the Schindlers are now getting advise and assistance and talking points from Snake Oil salesman who are feeding them false hope purely for political agendas... Randall Terry, for example... Other Bush-haters are there, too, giving ther two cents...

On Sean Hannity's radio show yesterday, Randall Terry's own attorney informed him (Terry) that Governor Bush no longer had any legal authority to intervene. [BTW: Thank you for your rationality; the commentary on some of these Terri threads has moved beyond hysterical and into the realm of lunacy!]
