Florida residents/attorneys: File a RULE 1.290 DEPOSITIONS petition
1l | 1l

Posted on 03/24/2005 2:09:17 PM PST by 1L

The Florida Rules of Civil Procedure allow a deposition to be taken prior to a civil action actually being filed. Filing and serving this on Terri, and asking the court for an order inserting the tube so as allow the witness to live in order for the deposition, may be a last, best hope. It's clear Jeb isn't going to do anything.

You'll have to come up with a cause of action.

he can call out the national guard and just find a doctor to intubate her again and seize her.

Welcome to FR. You'll find that people who advocate lawlessness and the government acting like a bunch of third-world thugs are not very popular around here.

I don't think internicene battles between the branches of government fit your description of "Lawlessness."

The Judges are acting lawlessly and the legislative and executive branhes should not tolerate it.

The previous poster's idea fits much better with the spirit of our founding fathers and Americanism than your snivelling characterizations.

You obviously have not done your homework.

If it's so clear to you geniuses that Michael tried to kill his wife, why have the police missed this over the last 15 years?

What I'm saying is that you should really wear your tinfoil hat more tightly.

I bet Terri hasn't filed her taxes in a number of years. Michael cannot be filing his taxes with both women.

Since he's still married to her, he's probably been filing a joint return for the last 15 years.

Maybe. I wonder if Michael gets to claim the two children on his joint return or whether his concubine gets the deduction.

You haven't a clue.

The Judiciary here is stepping beyond the law.

Greer should be publickly defrocked and incarcerated.

If you are anything but a troll, you have a shallow understanding of American history and law.

Good ideas, except onnnnnnne little, tiny, winy, detail.

He should NOT call the Hospice.

Never, ever tell your opponent what you're going to do in a case like this.

Of course, that is unless you're making the call to the HOSPICE, as you're walking through their front door.

Oh. Give me chills thinking about that.

Remember when President Bush pulled his security detail out of the trouble in Chile? (It was Chile, wasn't it??)

Love to see brother Jeb walk tall into that Hospice and take Terri.

That would be a good movie... I'd even cook up some popcorn for that movie!

This is my fear. The judicial system has dithered so long, it seems to me intentionally, that Terri's physical condition (particularly her kidneys) are beyond repair.
At that point, do you resuscitate her to have her live with failing kidneys, dialysis, and doubtful for her, kidney transplant?
I don't know the facts but it seems it must be getting awfully close to this point.

"Go in ...seize her"

Unfortunately I agree with the poster. Jeb is on the line, too.

However, that aside, I would like Freepers to mount a serious effort to impeach any and all judges appointed by Clinton. We are now ruled by 1 branch of government. The rest are blowhards and pussies.

And on THAT subject...

That's what I was thinking earlier today as a possible scenario!

And on that one you're talking the FEDS.

Oops. One problem. Greer won't let the world see anything about the money.

That man is a bad man. But then again, he is keeping company with his ilk.

Ever see a kid's room when you tell them to pick up their toys?

They have to actually SSSEEEEEEEEEE them first.

And that crowd down there is truly, really, awfully blind.

The Judiciary here is stepping beyond the law.

No, they just decided the case in a way you don't like.

Greer should be publickly defrocked and incarcerated.

For what, following Florida law?

If those hospice workers had any morals they would all walk out in protest! Let Felos, Michael and Greer carry out the court order. You can't force a health care worker to KILL someone!

Greer did not order the feeding tube or port to be removed. Greer ordered that Michael Schiavo "shall cause the removal of nutrition and hydration...". Even though she does not drool and therefore swallows up to a liter of saliva a day (and therefore could conceivably swallow water if allowed to) no one is allowed to attempt this. This is akin to the judge ordering the removal of all oxygen by tightly tying a plastic bag over a patient's head while unplugging the respirator.

This cannot be legal. I have read the constitution and nowhere does it give judges the right to order people to not be fed by mouth. Why hasn't this been declared unconstitutional by Jeb Bush or George immediately? Has this even been challenged by anyone by challenging Greer's authority to make such an order? Has the Florida legislature given Greer this power? This is not being "taken off life support" like all the news people are talking about. This is using government force to prevent a person from getting water which they could take on their own.

What can we do to get these questions and strategies addressed by Terri's defenders?
