My daughter and her family arrived last night. They are here until sometime Saturday. Her husband couldn't come, so he wants the kids back before Easter morning.

Good idea.
Mozie, Deanna Favre was on F&F. There will be a special on A&E about sport's wives. I didn't catch the time. She looks well. Bless her.

Hi, Molly! Thank you for the information on what Gelertner said on Bill Bennett's show.
I am wondering why Governor Bush hasn't intervened. Since he is not up for reelection and is not running again, he seems to have little to risk politically. It would make more sense for him to intervene than the President.

Oh, brother, David Boies (remember, from the Florida Court cases in 2000) is now goig to comment on this now.
To: Miss Marple
I agree, and that is my prayer now. I fear it is too late for poor Terri, but she's demonstrated her strong will tolive...
Laura Ingraham is still hot on this issue...

If Michael Shiavo succeeds in his wish that Terri die (as it seems likely now) and if, as he wishes, she is cremated "immediately", will he also add to his long list of denying her parents everything to do w/Terri by denying them possession of her ashes?
A gruesome question, I grant you, but this whole situation is gruesome.
In searching for anything good about this tragedy, I am thinking that Terri's life's "purpose" might be that we reexamine our laws, our hearts, and our own purpose in life itself, thus bringing about an awakening to our own relationship w/God.
To: Carolinamom
Indeed, he will. Terri's ashes are to be buried in Pennsylvania.
The cremation and disposal of the ashes is why I became disgusted with Michael Schiavo. His decision is not motivated by anything but spite, IMHO.

Well, I've just got a moving email from oldest son, who ponders his life as in insulin-dependent diabetic....his "quality of life"....and what it takes to maintain his balance, physically & emotionally....day in and day out....
Where will this end if we go down this road?? I know there are others here who have/are raising at-risk children...who are not mere inconveniences...
Like me, my son also remembers that it's almost 5 years since Elian...how we cried together that day..

This is beginning to drive me crazy!!
At the end of my father's life....my MIL's life, and believe me, they WERE at the end of their lives...they were given morphine to ease their pain & suffering.
THAT will be denied Terri, who ISN'T at the end of her life...she's NOT dying except by the hand of her husband & the courts...
I'm leaving...going to a quiet place to pray. Back later.
