My last mishap was when Bay fell... and that only hurt me where he landed on my foot. Ankle swelled up pretty good, but not as bad as his knees, so I didn't even really have a chance to worry about it, I was so busy doctoring him.
But the last time I fell off, I was thrown by the crazy Arab mare that woman was looking to give away.
If that isn't a situation that should have carried it's own warning, I don't know what is!
Oh, my, I don't think I've heard that story. Let me get a cold beverage while you tell us:)

This is a picture of the brands on Belle. The first is an AR, stands for Allen Ranch, where I bought her from. The one on her shoulder is a 2. AR, brands the last number of the birth year of the horse. Belle was born in 92. Their theory is (I don't know if I agree with it), is you wouldn't mistake a ten year old horse for a 2 year old, or a 20 year old, so it makes it easy to keep track of the age. I don't know why they would do this on a papered horse tho, but they do.
Then Harley was standing there so pretty, I took one of him:)
