They're prolly selling her because property taxes have made most folks who have any kind of land forced to sell.
When I first moved to this part of Miami, there was nothing around but farms, u-picks and a few houses, two supermarkets, a drug store and 3 schools.
Now, there are maybe 10 square blocks of "horse country" left. And those houses cost half a million and up, just because they sit on an acre + of land.
Very sad.
My condolences. I've never seen growth like Miami to Jupiter. I'm doing some consultant work for FPL out of their Juno Beach office and we travel down to the Turkey Point plant (near Homestead) about once a month and the rapid development is amazing.
One month, an open field, the next month foundations, month after that houses and streets, and then a month later cars, kids, landscaping, stores and schools. I've never seen nothing like it. Where the hell are all these people coming from?
