Dusty foaled tonight at 8:45pm. Had a filly :) The baby was born with one leg bent back and wasn't breathing. Bob had to pull the baby and tear the bag and slap her to get her breathing. While pulling her, he slipped on the placenta that he'd torn and fell, twisting his knee. He couldn't stand or walk, so I got to play nurse to him and the baby. She's not nursed yet but is up and running around. She's a odd color, at first thought she was bay but legs are not black. Then as she dried, she is light around her eyes, on her muzzle, under her legs. There is no greying gene present so don't know what's going on. Anyway, everyone, meet TE Dusty Jax -
