Bay has a lot of air time in his trot... which is why maybe, it's such a hard trot to sit. It's like he's on springs: boing... boing... boing... I catch him off the ground a lot when I am taking pictures, this is one from last summer. ;~D

Good morning everyone! I appreciate that I can show off pictures of my horses and you don't think I am a bore!

It must be an Arab thing. A friend of mine has an arab that spring along just like that too. Sometimes he even springs along like a gazelle. But I'm thinking that last feature is key only to that horse :-)

Winnie is in the neurectomy process. I'm glad I called the equine hospital that I did, they've recently moved to a new location and have some new toys. The x-ray machine was digital, didn't have to wait for developing. There is a newer version of neurectomy that my local vet has never done but said he'd do it anyway, that's when I called the equine hospital. They said the newer procedure is all they do anymore, been awhile since they've done the old procedure.

I can pick Winnie up this afternoon or tomorrow.

Jenny is here and brought her camera. I used up the whole battery taking pictures of the horses and my garden, so when they get home tonight they will load them to my host site, then I can post some:)

Yes, for this newer procedure she has to be knocked all the way out.

It is an absolutely beautiful day here. I just got done with Rusty's 15 minute work out. We actually went 20 and I trotted him some too. My plan is to do this same thing Sat. then Mon. do 15 minutes in the arena on cavalettis, then 15 minutes on the trails on some hills. If he doesn't lock up any after a few days of that, I will extend the time again.

Woo hoo! Been a while since we've seen any pics from you! :~D

Rosie's here... we were gonna saddle Bay up, but it's drizzling, so we're having coffee and considering our options.

Well.........after some gaelic because the instructions are for a different bike and the customer service number is no longer in use, I have closed the door and come up here to say Hi! Guess Deaconjim and I will be putting the wretched thing together at midnight! Grrrr

...Faggots are balls of low quality pork, a kind of 'English haggis', probably intended as a way to make the grossest animal parts seem edible. They are reasonably tasty, if you keep your eyes closed...

LOL! Sounds like what we here in the South call "Souse Meat" (pronounced like House). Ask deaconjim, he'll probably know what I'm talking about. My Granny used to make it when they butchered a hog. Like somebody said, it has everything in it but the squeal. They didn't waste anything back then but I refused to eat it. I was a city kid and too spoiled I guess.

I would say it is a cross between a meatball and haggis. They are good and as a kid, I didn't begin to question what was in it!
I make Brunswick stew and James Dad says that its the best he's ever tasted, which is surprising really cause I didn't put the Hogs head in it, that was in the recipe! LOL
I just went back down into the den to have another go at the bike. My patience isn't that good though, so I've locked the door again! : D

We've just been out playing with horses... It was sunny and raining at the same time, now it's trying to hail. So no... we didn't saddle up ;~D - But we did of course take some pictures!

I thought this one was a particularly funny pony moment:

More pics from today ;~D

Good pictures Hair! I'm just catching up, but I'll never complain about you or anybody else posting too many pictures.

I'm still on baby watch. Truly's holding out on me. She's bagging up more by the day and her hips are sunken so I expect something most any time. I haven't seen any waxing, but then I never have. At least she's held off until we have about 7 days of nice 70 degree weather in the forecast with no rain. I've got both cameras ready and waiting!

We are Hungarians, and made some things that would seem strange to you all.

Miss Targets, my first husband was Hungarian and I remember sitting in his folk's backyard and putting a bacon type meat on a stick and letting it drip over the open fire onto bread. I think he called it Sultana, have you ever heard of it?

Great pictures:) Has Rosie ever been around horses?

It probably won't be today that I get pictures posted:(. The reason all the kids have been here, is Charlie's truck is broke down and Travis (Jenny's husband), is helping work on it. Changing the clutch. Major job, it's a big truck. Anyway Jenny and Travis just left and have to go see Blake play a ballgame, so it will be late when they get home. We have to wait on Travis to load them. But he's off tomorrow, maybe then.

Winnie is finished and ready to come home, went off without a hitch. I may not get her until tomorrow, though. Lots of kid activities tonight and I won't be free til after 8:00.
