We are Hungarians, and made some things that would seem strange to you all.Miss Targets, my first husband was Hungarian and I remember sitting in his folk's backyard and putting a bacon type meat on a stick and letting it drip over the open fire onto bread. I think he called it Sultana, have you ever heard of it?

Oh yes, I remember them doing that. Family cookouts always had the "bacon bread". Rye bread with onions, and black pepper dripping with bacon fat, cooked over an open fire. I tried it a few times, but could never find the right kind of side bacon. It sure was good. No one worried about their arteries then..lol
