Vonzell had no low or middle projection range. It was all at a shout level, mostly very well in tune.

This lends itself to perhaps broadway or a lead singer in the gospel choir.

You lose the subtlety of a softer voice with a boomer like Vonzell and it would be tough for her to come up with a pop winner IMO. Pop these days has a lot of softer more relaxing voices in that class.

Even Whitney Huston has a level that is not SHOUT.

That is why many kept saying she over-sang this or that song.

I think she is a sweetie, nice girl!
I think she could have more an acting, rather than a singing career.
I hope she has a great money making opportunity. I like her a lot.

About Vonzell, some might not agree with me, but I think she has a lot of trouble staying in tune when she sings softly. The notes come out fine when she powers them. I haven't seen ever show, but the ones I've seen - unless she is REAL familiar with the song (ie her pick), she ain't so great on the soft parts.
