(((American Idol Ping)))
Ms. Abdul, youre trying to seduce me.
This is a low-volume list.
Names are pinged only on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, coinciding with the live AI shows.
If theres an AI related story or thread that you think would be of interest, please post a link or an excerpt here on this thread.
Thanks.
And as always, if you want on or off this ping list, just let me know.

Yhanks for the ping. I need the pre show update for tonight.
King Vanity watches consistantly but I seem to be doing chores for that shift most of the time.
Gonna try and watch it with him tonight though.
BTW What html tags do you use to get color?

Good evening, jonny. That graphic of Lt. Dan is hilarious. I assume it is supposed to be him, right?
BTW, Kelly Clarkson has landed a plum advertising gig as the latest "got milk/mik moustache" girl. Here's a pic of the ad along with info from the news release.

You'd think these kids would do better given the theme, but after the top two, disappointments abound this week. My rankings:
- Bo -- He still loses points in my book for not singing challenging enough material, but what he did sing was spot-on and paired with an impressive stage performance. (Even though I still want him to leave the poor microphone stand alone...) Question: he'd be a pretty good live show to go to, but is his voice good enough to listen to for an entire album?
- Anthony -- Choosing a power ballad played right into his strengths, and with the exeption of a missed note here and there, it was well-delivered. He didn't look so much like a dork this week and for most of the song, I forgot all about the whole "boy band" thing. Anthony's best overall perfromance to date.
- Carrie -- A bit of a toss-up at 3 & 4 here. Carrie gets the higher nod because her singing was technically better, though it was a "safe" song that she nonetheless didn't sound great on, mostly due to trying to force a "gravelly" sound. She at least looked a little better up there this week.
- Vonzelle -- Give her credit for always choosing the tough song, but she failed to deliver it this time. I had to re-watch to be sure, and the beginning was actually better than I first thought, but the middle was a mess. I expect much better from Vonzelle, but this puts her into a dangerous position since I don't think she has the solid fan base that others have.
- Constantine -- Time for the dreaded "U"-word... unconvincing. Even I know the original well enough to know that this paled in comparison, and really lost Lt. Dan any momentum he might have had from the last few weeks.
- Scott -- Please let Simon be right about packing his bags... this was awful. He missed every one of the isolated high notes. His voice was mostly weak and thin. And he looked like a zombie. Please put him out of my misery now.
Flame on...
