Well, this girl butchers "Independence Day". I've heard Martina Mc Bride and I've heard this one and BUTCHERED...WEAK...PLASTIC comes to mind.

When a performer covers a song I particularly enjoy, they'd better do a good job or I spot all the weaknesses. The song I thought Carrie butchered badly was "God Bless the Broken Road." As I've mentioned at length earlier on the thread, I used to like her a lot. Then something turned me off her and I grew to dislike her a lot. I think it started the night she came out looking like an adult version of JonBenet Ramsey, but I know for certain her rendition of "Broken Road" disgusted me, frankly. It disgusted me because the judges were dishonest in their comments afterwards. The performance sucked big time, but they fawned over her as usual.
