Amen Fran Drescher has got to go!
Being from the very competitive state of Alabama, with 2 successful college football teams, a state where we would vote for the person who could spit a watermelon seed the farthest, yeah I'd say he's going to be in the competition for awhile. Alabamians will vote in droves just to have someone who is GOOD stay in it.
no no no - please NEVER bring ruben back!!!!
in my opinion - clay did win.....i spent two hours trying to vote for him on the final and i've had a ton of other folks tell me the same thing and none of us ever got through! something funny was afoot!!!! i guess i'm what you would call a claymate!!!! i love that guy!
not just a good scrubbing down - goodness he needs to wash that hair! I can't stand it!
wasn't ozzie with the cardinals? i may be mistaken but I think that's what i heard!
Please remove me from the ping list. Thanks
and then, if he wins, that will be the second time out of four years that someone from alabama won!!!! now what does that tell folks about the talent in the cotton state!!! roll tide!
I just bought concert tickets for my daughter for Kelly Clarkson. This is the second time she's had me buy tickets.
The first time I paid 20.00 each, this time they were 45.00 each for the same concert location. I may not be able to afford her next year.
My daughter says she is sort of "punk rockish". Whatever that means.
She's also gone completely blonde and is very thin. Christina doesn't like the physical changes though.
"[scott] looks like a serial killer and I can't get beyond it."
Cajungirl, you and I are really agreeing tonight, I said basically those exact words to hubby. He sings great though, maybe he could do backup, or voice overs, or something like that.
"You're not voting for Bo!?"
I gotta try and keep Federov alive for now! His story is too heart warming. And hubby was annoyed with Bo tonight, to much show-boating he thought. Bo did ROCK whipping post a few weeks ago. I was amazed with that. He and Constantine are the only two with real head-to-head competition, that's tough for them, they've got to play off against each other.
I like Nadia and Vonzell for the females and Bo, Constantine and Anwar for the guys. And Nikko Smith gets my sympathy vote, he's better than the remaining members of the group.
Nadia's outfit was flattering to her tonite (in contrast to that cutesy-girlie skirt she wore last week).
The 60's song I'd love to hear someone do is "The Name Game" -- Banana Rama Bo bana (etc):
He's in my top 4 but tonight he was just OK for me. Anwar, my #1, was also way too safe and too boring, kinda disappointed me really. The only one that came through for me was Nadia, she's never disappointed. Carrie who I had behind Leslie was to me much better than the Judges claimed.
Constantine was the one who was resurrected, didn't like him much before tonight, but he pulled it off.
I think Makaela wound up in the basement however.
Just cast our votes now, one for Nadia (hubby-he's a fan) and one for Anthony for me.
I never really watched this show before, I just used to have time to "listen" to it. Even with that I gotta say, I think this is the strongest field they've had. I'm really enjoying it, and this thread just makes it even more enjoyable.
Hubby and I usually agree, even though he's got a MUCH BETTER musical ear than I do. But so often the judges do not agree with us.
Tomorrow I guess we'll see how our opinions stacked up against America.
I guess now would be an OK time to reveal that I was a big Rueben booster the whole time last time. He was the only one who could make me turn away from my task and actually come watch. So it did not surprise me so much when he won.
The kid and I are still waiting to see Clay cast in Oklahoma, or somesuch, on Broadway. We'll be there for that for sure.
Anthony was just OK for me today, Mikalah I think is the one going home.
I was on my way home and wouldn't ya know it, got a flat tire! We missed Idol entirely. In your opinion, who did well, who did poorly?
LOL. Perfect!
I've been reading your comments about the contestants and as Simon would say, you've nailed it!
