I'm DVRing it. My wife is watching "Hanging Up"-- an old Meg Ryan movie. I can comment on it tomorrow.

Are you old enough to know the eighties stuff? I thought you were a young 20 something. Aren't you?
To: texasflower
You're more forgiving than I would've been--that's a credit to you. If he'd said those things to me ... I don't know. I probably would've been banned for saying something I shouldn't.

Thanks for noticing my tagline. (I'm blushing with delight)
Dancing with the Stars was last night. They had professional dancers teamed up with celebrities.
The pros had to teach the celebs to dance. Last night was Latin Dance.
The celebs were Rachel Hunter, Evander Holyfield, the guy from Seinfeld (J Peterman?) that Trista girl, some soap star and one of the "New Kids on the Block".
They have judges and then the viewers call in and vote for their favorites.
I don't know when the eliminations are though.
But I do remember the other show that was surprisingly cute.
It was an Ashton Krutcher creation called "Beauty and the Geek".
Geeks are teamed up with beautiful girls. The goal is for the geeks to teach the girls intellectual things and the girls teach the geeks social skills.
They give the girls basic educational tests after the geeks work with them and the guys have to learn to dance or learn about pop culture.
The winning teams eliminate the others.

I do think the male dancers were all gay.
You are right about the female dancers. We have a houseful of girls but watching the pretty dresses and graceful girls is still fun.
That female judge was horrible to all the girls though wasn't she?
Holyfield looked a bit clunky but he did have some rhythm. I think the NKOTB guy did very well.

and one of the "New Kids on the Block". LOL! Like an afterthought :)
To: silent_jonny
I'm just glad he apologized. Sometimes things are said in the heat of the moment, but bringing my dead father into it was completely out of line.

Loverboy! Man they have gotten old. :( So are you jonny. Egads 31! Life is over man. Just kidding. You are now entering your prime.
To: texasflower
I'm just glad he apologizedThat is unusual, but still he should've been banned. That was waaaaaaaaaaaay over the line.

VERY dull Disney movie, "My Date With the President's Daughter". I think it was actually a Disney CHANNEL movie, which gives a clue to the quality. If you want to watch a similar movie that was in the theaters, you can watch First Daughter. It's probably not a lot better, though.

Flock of Seagulls has swelled :) ROFL!
They sound good though.
Man they have gotten old. :( So are you jonny
I know :) Nothing quite matches the horror of opening a birthday card and seeing a big Three-Zero staring back at you :o
But I've accepted it. I'm already enjoying my 30's far more than my 20's.

Arrested Development--who? Oh I recognize their song now.
