Wanted to give you a little update...
Matthew was studying his spelling and one of his spelling words was "serious". The teacher said it came from the Latin word "Sincer-us". Matthew said "It's pronounced "sincer-oos"." I asked him "Have you already learned this word?" He said "No, I just know it's pronounced that way, and it's the 2nd declension masculine."
I was completely floored.
I hope he's right, I have no idea! LOL!!

Haha!
Empress probably knows. She remembers more of the Latin we had than I do. Sounds right. Got to love the things smart kids will spring on ya :D

If he IS right...that's almost a little scary! ;-)
Home...told 'em I'd probably not be in tomorrow since I really want to FINISH packing! Finally! Then Saturday I can do the moving (except for a very few things - someone's coming for the desk on Sunday, for instance) and be DONE with all this!

I'll have to take his word for the declension stuff, though I do know that the 'us' is usually pronounced 'oos' when you're singing Latin.

Hey -- aren't your Jedi's homeschooled? Or did I make it up?
