Hullo all. Evening. I am, hallelujah, done with midterms. Choir was great fun, it's nice to sing with a bunch of people who can more or less sight read, and we're doing a lot of great hymns for Good Friday. Not started on much Easter stuff yet, but who can ask for more than "O Sacred Head", "Stricken, Smitten and Afflicted" or "How Deep the Father's Love"?
hmm, I have been singing in church choir since I was 3 and I have never heard of any of those you have mentioned.
I looked in my 1982 Lutheran hymnal, and the first two were in there, but I still cannot account for the third.
I am used to hearing "All Glory, Laud, and Honor," "From Calvary's Cross I Heard Christ Say," and "Jesus, in Your Dying Woes" for Passion Week. Hmm, interesting.
