But warm raisin soda bread with plenty of better is one of the finer things in life...Just had the first slice. YUUUMMM! I used Golden Raisins I got from Trader Joes'. It's different from the stuff I get at Stop and Shop. It doesn't have as much fat in it; only used 2 tablespoons, and had a texture that's more like bread than cake. I guess the addition of the whole wheat flour did that.

Oooh, yeah...I like golden raisins.
Most of the time I've had soda bread, it's been crumbly...almost a little biscuit-like.
