Wish I had a garden.
So far I have half a box up. Need to get some more dirt for it and set up at least 3 more before last frost (end of April.)
Hi! Just popping in long enough to say that Halvah is, as I thought, just fine. The vet finally called and left a message! She did say something about pH levels that I take it means she really should have a different food (something to do with crystals being present in her urine, which I'm sure you're all very interested in...), but the new food I got her should help with that and I'd been feeding a cheaper brand than usual...so I think that's nothing to worry about. All's well with the world! Except that they have to keep getting that eye ointment for a bit, but it's working better than the drops did, so no big deal.
Speaking of gardens...I'm thinking of trying to bring my hugh philodendron. It's lived through two apartments, a stint at the house, and then here, plus one period where Mom set it outside and it got forgotten for a few months. It cannot be killed. I should name it Rasputin...except it's rather pleasant. I don't see why it couldn't survive a few day trip, though it might be a little unhappy for a day or two afterwards. Is there anywhere to hang a plant?
