I don't mind these temps, but stop teasin' me fercryinoutloud...
as I was brush hawgin' I was really convicted of my attitude... I said I'd do it, and then I was gripin' in muh head about bein' taken advantage of... all the bitin' comments I could make to 'em...
then a real shameful conviction came over me... I should do this job outta Christian charity, and with the attitude of doin' it unto the Lord... muh attitude went away and I started hummin' hymns tuh muhself, and went about doin' the very best job I could... funny how when yuh get God involved, the joy returns...
g'nad - well said. You're right.
I got two more folding nylon camping chairs for Shoot-moot today for a good price. I've now got an even half dozen now. Two camo, two blue and two green. Plus the blue sun-screen.
Fargin' customers should all go away--- then I have no job. Hmm...
;o)
You can always count on your friends to tell 'em to blow it out their shorts!
I'm just kiddin'...you know that. ;-)
I'm that way about loaning people money. I either give them the money or not. If they pay me back, I'll take it with appreciation, but if they don't, I'm not disappointed and it doesn't ruin our friendship. That's just me, though.
Just checkin' in real quick. Steve had to go to Auto Zone for a new headlight for the truck. Then we're back to working on the Bug. You wouldn't believe what I got done yesterday...it is truly just about gutted.
It looks like an upside down collander. :-( Gonna need a lot of fiberglass and sheetmetal!
Must be today's theme. I just finished a Sunday School class that basically helps you identify and define your spiritual gifts and style of service. It's designed to help you be more effective in ministry mainly thru the local church.
Got a good dose of remindin' that "it's not all about ME."
I hate that...
