what would Ben say if he saw our tax code and marginal rates? He didn't say this, but I believe that he would agree with the sentiment. I think that this was from John Adams.

i dont have a fragile ego. more than anything i was trying to have some fun with this. if you know anything about ben franklin, he was a big proponent of it.
its important to know what to be serious about and what to have fun with. which category would you put all this in ?
i posted this with the intent of people relaxing and having fun with it. thanks for your concern though. :)

I apologize...seemed I had a burr under my saddle. My first impression was that someone was offering constructive criticism and you lashed out.
Tired of the incessant flame wars (and I know there are lurkers/disruptors from the 'dark side').
This forum has shown great promise, great potential, BUT what drew me to this forum in 1997 seems to have gone off an acute tangent. Take it from one that has posted over 10,000 articles and >8,500 replies.

i didnt take any offense, and i was having some fun with endthematrix. i always appreciate an opportunity to learn something and i try to benefit from others' knowledge and experience. there is a wealth of that in FR.
lol...as i said, i thought this would be a light, fun break from some of the heavier threads which can provoke some flaming.
