Thanks.

Much of the time, it isn't so bad and she is fun and light hearted, but then. . .

I thank God for her good physical health which gives me the opportunity to spend time with her. If she needed nursing care, it would be very difficult for me to get away from here to see here. I'm fortunate that I work at home and can deal with the problems most of the time.

In September, my sister plans to move her to her home in Florida where she can be more helpful than I can be. From there, the next step is assisted living in Florida which is much more reasonably priced than here in PA.

hey, you are not alone on not having dates for 21 V-Days.

Think of it as VD and you'll be glad that you don't have it. ;-)

I'm sick, behind on homework, and dateless for the 21st consecutive Valentine's Day.

That sucks, hope you feel better. But I guarantee your luck will improve; as a girl geek the supply and demand curve is in your favor.

I was dumped the day before Valentine's Day...... By a FReeper. If you read this, baby, I wish you all the best.

Thank you for your hope.

What a funny reply! LOL!

Well, I DID get a Valentine card in the mail from my 85 yr. old Dad. He signed it, "Love, from your very first Valentine."

now that I'm older I'm glad our house is small. It makes it easier to chase her around the place...and catch her now and again (and again) too I might add.

Another great reply! For some reason, tho', I'm picturing Tim Conway in his old man costume taking little bitty steps. I hope you're in better condition than that, tho', Sierrahome!

I didn't know that Klondike bars come in a sugar-free variety. Was the red and white icing ALSO sugar free?!!!!!! I'm sure she appreciates your thoughtfulness about her diet.

506trooper, I have this bad habit of looking at everybody's (well, almost everybody's) profile page. I see that you were a paratrooper. I jumped out of a plane on my 50th birthday, and I'm gonna' do it again on Feb. 25. I can hardly wait. It's the most wonderfulest funnest thing I EVER did. You can see us still above the clouds on my page.

Momaw, I thought you were one of the girls because your name looks so similar to what we called my grandmother: "Mamaw." I also pictured you with a seersucker dress and stockings that are rolled down to just above your knee! (I loved my Mamaw...)

I'm going through something similar with my mom and dad. They just moved back to town and into an Assisted Living facility closeby. She calls every other day with a grocery list. AAAaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrggggggggghhhh!

I know that it probably hurts now, but if you think about it:

If he dumped you to avoid buying a present, you're really better off.

Whatever the reason, it is better to be rid of him now than to be with his dumb a$$ another day. You can do better. ;-)

Trade ya'.

LOL

One day you'll be praying for just a grocery list every other day.

Just after I moved her into her own apartment last year to be closer to me, she called constantly. One day when I was out, I got 215 messages -- in one day - 8 or 10 hours.

On average though, she only called 50 times a day with gusts to 100 - 150. One day I took all of the phone cords out of her phones just to get a break. Within 5 minutes, she called again.

Sometimes now she tries to call me. Even if I'm here but in another room.

"It's the most wonderfulest funnest thing I EVER did."

Second most wonderfulest funnest thing, second most wonderfulest funnest thing.

It's the funnest thing you can do with your clothes on.

I (and probably many on this board) understand your feelings completely, and congratulations on your jump.

I've promised myself that I'll do it one more time on my 60th birthday.

Tell us a little about yourself.

Maybe we can get a Freeper romance started.

There's been a few marriages between Freepers. At least maybe we could get you matched up with a few "Freeper email-pals.
