No offense intended, Duchess. It's just that honest horse sellers are as rare as grown women at michael jackson's house.
Our buying and selling of horses is dependent on our reputation. Everyone around knows we'll pay a fair price, no more for a horse. They also know any horse we sell is exactly what we say it is and that our prices are firm. The lady who just took the mini bought one previously from us. We told her the baby was head shy and afraid of adults, said we'd make sure she was halter broke before we delivered her. We asked $400 (good price for a mini with no papers and no training at 8mos old). She paid us $450 when we delivered her because she thought we ask to little for her. She originally called us on the recommendation from someone else, the horses weren't advertised for sale.
Whether or not she pays for the second one we just delivered, we got much more in free advertising and good will. She'll send anyone interested in horses that she talks to to us.
