600 foot is a load of crap. Its not that powerful. And its not a volcanic situation. Its a landslide.

60 foot... maybe. If that.

You should know better than to take anything from Coast to Coast with more than a grain of salt.

He said that the oceans were warming because of underground volcanic activity.

Warming oceans (which ain't happening) would be related to more rainfall and (where the climate is cooler) perhaps more snowfall. Submarine volcanoes aren't going to do anything like that.

The enviro-wackos came up with the theory of a new ice age back in the '70's and then in the 80's everybody talked about the "greenhouse effect". None of their gloom and doom scenarios have come to pass.
