Yeah - we all cross-posted! Good enough news then! Too bad there wasn't a little more market appreciation, but you haven't had it all that long either, right? Only had it three years...and when I bought it, I offered pretty much full price rather than doing a lot of negotiating. I was stoopid and also in a hurry.
My brothers tell me I should hope to find a sucker such as I was. ;-)

I'll put you on our Parish Prayer list for quick sale of a home. Definitely NOT a TPR. Glad you don't have to do anything else before getting it ready to show. Is the realtor going to put a lock box on it so it can be shown while you're at work? I'm giving them a key tomorrow - they don't do lock boxes. So...yeah, they'll be able to show it while I'm at work.
Gosh, I hope I'm able to get a decent offer quickly! Looking at other sales, people typically offered ten thousand less than the sale price, and that is too little. But on the other hand, asking more than the price we decided on would likely mean less offers, so I think the price is right. Just a matter of finding the right buyer, I guess.

Did she give you any clues as to how long things would take to get moving?She said houses sell in an average of three to five months...and the houses she showed me as comparable to mine fit quite a wide range. One sold in just eight days, but it was offered at considerably under market value. Another took over a year, but it was in a not-so-nice neighborhood. She said they didn't have ANY listings under 70k right now, except for camps...so if anyone is looking and doesn't mind the lack of land and it being only two bedroom, I'd likely start getting offers fairly quickly.

Uhm, is that going to cause any problems with your cats? Well...other than the cats being overly friendly without me to fend them off, no. They've been told not to let 'em out, and the cats don't really try.
*sigh* I need to start looking for homes for Halvah and Cleo. But I'm stalling.

Now I think those fish look more like perch than sunfish. Never ate a perch, but I think they are good.
Frying is probably my favorite way of eating fish...I have a batter that I made up myself that comes out real crispy and most everyone raves about that I usually use. I was trying to figure out how to make tempura one time, didn't get that, but came up with a, IMHO, wonderful fish frying batter.
So, do you think the shot episode had anything to do with your becoming an RN?

Yes, but three would be a bit hard, especially when one is ancient and the other just about has a heart attack driving half a mile to the vet.
Plus...I don't think the apartment place would be too keen on my suddenly showing up with THREE cats.
Tam is comin', though. He's the-coolest-cat-in-the-whole-world, and it'd take a LOT to get me to part with him. He's awesome, albeit rather intense.

Prayers for the Pope Bump.
While I may not be Catholic, Pope John Paul II is certainly among the greats of our time. When he finally departs, he will leave very large footprints to fill.
It is if fact somewhat staggering to think who might eventually be posted to replace him. Not only is he a tough act to follow, but the next Pope may well face issues and events that are epic.
