I'm sorry, that's just not scripturally sound...

I'd ask you which thread, but then, it wouldn't do me much good to know...

Is anything involving Susan Sarandon scripturally sound?

Let's not start a Calvinist argument... We'd get popcorn posted at us...

It wasn't really doing anyone much good. It was over ~there~.

I think the relevant scripture for Susan Sarandon is "Get Thee behind me Satan!"

Here's something to help: Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day.

Good luck with the realtor; if she gives you any trouble, as Hair said, interview another. You are going to be paying them, they are not paying you. :-)

Wasn't that the "weatherman" thing?

Sigh. Some people need thicker skins, and others need a sense of discretion.

Looks like you lost weight, 2J. Nice fish, though...what species?

I don't even remember the situation.

Sunfish, pretty sure. I caught my first one at the age of 4, out of a farm pond. A milestone in my life! 1952

Guess I'm weird but I just don't get the appeal of fishing... boring if you don't catch any, slimy if you do, and you have to eat the stinky things. Is there something I'm totally missing?

... now you've got me worried that my casual attitude toward housework (I haven't got food poisoning yet!) is going to offend you and we won't be able to be roommates...

Heh...far from it. It's seriously something I need to work on. But...I'm not as stressed as I was earlier. I also still haven't figured out how I'm going to get out of here on time. I offered to do a software installation that needs to be done before an eight o'clock class tomorrow by coming in at seven, but it turns out it's something that will take a lot longer than that and they found someone else to do it. Gah.

Thanks! That does help!

Probably so...

I figure IIRC, we were at a KOA...they had a pond. I have glasses so I was probably about 9 years old.

I caught my first fish when I was 6, though...it was a trout...that one I remember because it was big enough to eat and I did!

I don't think my dad had been fishing with me in this picture...I think I brought this back on my own.
