The last two weeks have been pretty rough on EOD techs (three dead, one severely wounded). Today was a good day.
The EOD team leader didnt know it was an IED. He was just going to do a BIP (Blow in Place) of ordnance. He returned after the explosion to do a post blast investigation and discovered what is in the picture.
Somebody loves EOD techs...
Yes. That you did. :-)
Woo Hoo! Honest 'Elton John' Precious!
I saw that thread this morning. Just amazing!
the same guy played Pyle and Animal Mutha... so... yes, he was...
Those EOD guys are *not* like everybody else.
That rocks.
heh... I didn't know that.
Heh. Just noticed the Bag End door art.
"...And that's a good thing."
Thank you. Which album is it on? Not a trick question, I'd like to know.
I stand corrected... the resemblance is uncanny tho'... and I thought I remembered D'Onofrio talkin' about it...
good catch...
Oh, is that what movie that picture's from. I never wanted to ask...
you should watch the first half sometime... gives me flashbacks...
Thank goodness for terrorists that didn't pay attention in class.
...or are just a little slow in the speeddial...
Right... um... let's put it on the list of things not to watch at ShootMoot. You with flashbacks would be triggering my self-preservation instinct...
I'm guessing they don't give their number out to just anybody.
Its amazing that this guy played both Pyle *and* that guy on CSI. Hard to believe it is the same person. Maybe that means he's good at the whole "acting" thing. :-)
Sorta like how Jack Nicholson can play Col. Jessup and nail the role to historic proportions, then turn around and play the Joker in a Batman movie and *also* completely nail the role *and* take over the movie from the lead.
