Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

ksen told me a couple of weeks ago he didn't know about the Castle, but would drive by there when he got a chance. I dug up the website and they're "open" for rentals: http://www.greatrentals.com/FL/3251.html
I have ksen's email at home. I'll try to contact him tonite. The GRPLs (Calvinists) got themselves into a snit because they all kept getting banned. So they're on strike. So he hasn't been around the crusades for about a week.

I'm here and safe from the tornadoes!
There was one that hit about a mile and a half from our house but we didn't sustain any damage. Although our roof started to leak which I think is left over from the hurricane(s) so I called our insurance just to see if they'd buy us a new roof.
Thanks for the prayers and the caring!

Seriesly, I've been too busy at work to do a lot of posting, trying to get invoices out and pay the employees.

Honestly I've never understood why the GRPLs (is that pronounced like "gerbil?) get into snits anyway. If they get banned, weren't they predestined to have done so?
Hi ksen, nice to see you. Did I tell you I found a nice PCA church to attend, 30 miles away?

My daughter and I are going to
JACON in April in Orlando. It's at a hotel near Sea World so I booked a room there for the weekend. My wife and the boys will do stuff in and around Orlando while Ellie and I are convetioneering.
I'm kind of interested to see what kind of cosplayers will show up.

Whoo-hoo, you'll love it! I hope it's a fairly small con - what I liked best about Nan Desu Kon was how intimate it felt.
I won't be dragging Rosie along unless she asks to go... which ain't likely.
(PS - anime your family might like - Detective Conan. I think it's a hoot but the later episodes (after 70) where there aren't good fansubs, the Chinese-authored subtitled throw in too many curses. I can freepmail you with more info if you care.)
