Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Constantly check your freepmail for guidance from your HH friends...we'll be watching!
Last thread I did, Hair and I kept up a steady stream of freepmail conversation on how to deal with the little problems that came up.

Corin, they found methane????!!! LINK! LINK!!! It was on the Today show this morning. I looked and there's nothing on the web site. Science guy did say it faces "peer review." IOW, other scientists need to verify the research before it's "official."

Can you put pictures in the initial post? Or would that have to be in a followup?

Yes, put the pictures in the initial post. It will have to be formatted with HTML, just like any reply... there is a preview button you'll see, just note that it only previews the text, and not the title, so proof-read your title carefully. There will be a box for both your 'article' and your first reply. You don't ~neede~ to have a first reply, but the reply area is where you can ask freepers for help, let them know what area you're in, or whatever. Look at a few threads and you'll see what that's like.
The main key is preview preview preview. If it doesn't look right in preview, it won't fix itself in the posting process.

Well, in that case just take it as easy as you can. Force those fluids, and get as much rest as possible! Also, if you don't have a humidifier, put a pot of water on the stove and let it come to a boil, then reduce it to a simmer. It will help raise the humidity levels, which will probably help with that chest congestion. Just be sure to put a timer on it, so you check it from time to time and don't let the pot boil dry.
