Another idea about the cats... there are a lot of cat lovers here on FR. Why don't you just casually post to the Vermont message board asking if anyone can rescue a cat or two for you?

I just know some places have rules about declawing...which is something I would never, never do to a cat.

Of course, there's the "what they don't know won't hurt them" if that's the case. He's pretty good about using a scratching post, and likely the only thing they can really ask for paperwork on would be shots and neutering.

OK, goin' to church for a bit. I'll try to stop worrying!

Well, they ask for a deposit, so I would assume they're a little less strict about what they allow than a place that lets pets in free. And what's he going to scratch, the walls? All the possessions are mine...

Are you talking about a movie, OT?

Yep. Shakespeare's Henry V directed by Laurence Olivier. he had lots of sets that looked something like this:

Whoa, he must have been a great actor to be so popular with sets that look like little red 'x's.

Ducking away...

I still haven't decided when to turn that in! If my last day is going to be April 1st...maybe I should wait until close to March 1st to do it?

Or I may turn it in next week, after our holiday. We get Monday off. That'd give me plenty of time to tweak it, and it'd be a quiet week and therefore I'd have time to talk to him in more depth if he wants.

I'm planning on getting one of those trashcans on wheels for the washer water and use a siphon to water the plants.

Next week sounds like a good choice to me...

Bah, I keep forgetting I can't speak and trying to sing along with my music. Bah.

BTW, your idea for the cats is a good one...though the Vermont board seems really formal, so I'm kinda skeered. They really only use it for political events.

I suppose I COULD post a vanity thread...but I've never ever posted a thread, either! Eep!

I heard about that this morning while taking elf-boy to school. Evidently the guys' own dog went and retrieved the pot the guy had ditched, and gave it to the officers.

Maybe I can get some of the more savvy thread posters to help me over the next couple of days...

Hey, it could work!
