Ack, just die....

I've given up for the night. I know how to do all the problems, it's just a matter of getting the syntax right and that's going to take hours and hours.

Have you Googled for any web references?

I think I've just about filled up my fun quotient... going to call it a night. Have a good one!

Good night!

I have a link to the official language description paper but I'm trying to find something a little more user friendly.

OUCH! Good thing y'all got to the house first!

When we bought our first house, it was a FSBO, SSQ gave it a good look-through, even up into the attic, and pronounced it well-built. It was a good price; about $17,000 below the original asking price, which we happened to discover in an old magazine of real estate listings from a few months before we saw it. This was in April, and we discovered after we moved in that the owner had been removing bushes and shrubs from the house since we'd signed the contract. We frankly hadn't noticed because the place was so overgrown. But we did notice before closing that the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, so we made it a requirement that he install one. A few weeks after closing he shows up at the front door and thankfully SSQ was home cause I might have just booted him. He said he was there to install the new fan. It was one of those little round boudoir fans from the early 60's! It wasn't even an exhaust fan. I guess he thought I'd just say "OK Stanley, thank you". What a putz! We made him give us the cash for a REAL one.

Later on in the winter, we noticed a glacier in a low spot in the back yard. When spring came, we realized it was downright mushy, but the grass was growing really well there. Yep, the septic field had failed. When we told our neighbors, they just went DOH! They had seen them hauling laundry out to be done, and couldn't figure out why. The folks wanted the yard to be dry when they showed the house so no one would question the health of the system. We had to have a dry-well installed. We chalked it up to lessons learned, but we made sure that everything was taken care of before we closed on this one when we moved to MA!

What a lovely house, OT! Was all that painting already done when you got there?

Goodness I love those colors - especially the living room? Are they your choices? (If so - you have good taste!)

Good morning, btw! Visit with niece/nephew is going well.

Yes. If I had gotten the flash right you probably could have seen that some of the rooms need doing over. It looks like the living room, the computer room, and the kitchen/dining area are the most recent paint jobs. The bedroom could use repainting...and the bathroom. Outside of the purple being a bit dark, it's not even that scrubbable bathroom paint.

The niece just spit up on her momma. I only mention it because that's something that doesn't happen around our place every day. :)

Morning OT - the colors are certainly more vibrant than 'woodlawn winter white'. :-)

Plans are minimal today, though I'll be trying some stains on some new arrow shafts.

Gypsygirl has been making snow angels in the back yard and investigating bunny tracks. LSA saw a big racoon scooting across the street when it was snowing last night. Kinda kewl.

Kitty is sprawled out on the couch and swishing her tail. I don't have much on the agenda for today...,maybe put software back on the desktop, finalize plans on the garden...that sort of thing.

'Course if things get too boring I could always go down to the barewood furniture place and pick up a weekend project.

Morning EGE - yes, a very nice shade of green, visually stimulating and suitable for use in any room.

I want to get a wall shelf with hooks or pegs for coats to put near the front door....and maybe a mirror to go over the wall shelf....and then a blanket chest that doubles as seating to go underneath. Or....a nice sideboard to put under the kitchen window where that little table is now.
