Hmm...

I don't know. I feel so clueless when it comes to what he's doing. Not like when he got his Bachelors and we strolled up and down the sides of the highways picking various plant samples and drying them. I learned a lot of what he was studying and understood it. (Agriculture, hort.)

This is just so far above my head that when he talks about it, mostly I just nod! LOL

Heh, but that's ok because there's a lot of stuff you do that he just has to nod about! Sometimes I wonder if I really want to marry a computer geek. It must be hard sometimes if your spouse knows exactly how stupid your day job is.

On the other hand, I know my dad likes having me around because I understand what he does and how hard it is. To my mom, computers are just this vague mystical thing. She always told us growing up "Dad is a computer genius" and that worked for us. And now I know he really is :-)

So just tell the Jedis "Your dad is an ecology genius" and it'll make everyone feel better.

True...and things have changed A LOT since we first got married and he went back to college the first time.

The first semester I wasn't real involved, because I was finishing up RN school...the only semester we were both going to school at the same time. Then, after that, we were able to just focus on his school...and it was just us! No kids to contend with, on my days off I could just take off with him to school even!

It was so fun. We'd collect bugs for his entemology class and all kinds of leaves for his botany class! When he graduated, I felt like I coulda graduated too...I learned so much right along with him, helping him study and all!

I cried like a baby when he graduated. And it wasn't near as hard as this. The minute I see him in that hood...I just know I'm gonna loose it.

By the time we get to ShootMoot...we're gonna need a vacation, I have a feeling!

I'm logging off for the night...get the kitchen spiffed up before Steve gets home.

See you all when I see you. I doubt I'll log on tomorrow...probably Monday morning.

Night all!

2JM - You're doing your part now, probably even moreso. You're a full time wife, mother, teacher, home maker, poultry manager, gardner, whew.
Your hard work allows Steve to focus on his job and his studies. The studies part will be over soon.

And with a bread machine I can set it to have the dough ready Just when I walk through the door.

DOH! I never thought of using the bread machine for my pizza dough! Clare's birthday is the 23rd and she wants to have some friends over, so I might give it a whirl, then!

I was given a bread machine some years ago...I used it once, and the little rotator thing that sat in the bottom to hold the mixers came out with the loaf of bread and I somehow managed to lose it. I held on to the machine for the longest time, even called the company who told me I could order a replacement part, but that I would have to wait to get it because it was back ordered. Never recieved the part and eventually gave up the ghost on the machine. I was a bit miffed. I paid only fifteen dollars for them to deliver a part to me, but still, I was never able to use the blasted thing. Does yours have a similar part that comes out with each loaf????

That's how I feel about SSQ's work. It's like, (Nods), "yeah, that's nice".

"Slipstream" is just finishing up on SciFi. Apparently will be replayed at 1:00 in the morning (Eastern).

It's a pretty good time travel story...Sean Astin's in it. Good Sam-like humor moments.

Yeah, it sticks in the bottom of the loaf of bread. Can't miss it when you're cutting the bread.

I bet SciFi will show it again though...don/'t you think?

Am lurking on eBay on a Favorite Seller's store that sells gypsy type clothing...lots of gorgeous stuff there...am trying VERY hard not to bid on any of it. There are some BEAUTIFUL crochet skirts for sale....
