Can you expand upon the Michigan portion of your map? And do you have a schedule yet?
Wow...that looks like quite the place!
Still the question of schedule...
We're still working on a schedule...probably we'll be in the midwest on the seventh or eighth of April?
I'm also realizing, now that I look at it more closely, that this route doesn't take us much through Michigan. Originally I was planning to go through Canada, but with the cat along and the border hassle that would entail...I gave up on that idea.
Still...MAYbe it's a possibility, I dunno!
I'm enjoying watching Spiderman 2 again. I really like the movie...more then the jedis, I believe! LOL
It's at the part where he doesn't get paid for his pizza...dispite the fact that I've tried to explain to the jedis about incentives and such, they both think it is monumentally unfair the lady won't pay for the pizzas and they plot ways they would get her to pay for them if THEY were Spiderman...
It's very funny.
thanks fer the ping tuh the other thread...
Yep.
Do you know, pizza chains have had to drop that "delivered in 15 minutes or it's free" guarantee because insurance thought the drivers would be more reckless and get into accidents that way? It's true... in fact the place I worked made us overestimate the time of delivery by 15 minutes so customers wouldn't complain about "late" pizzas.
Hmph...I bet so.
Pizza place is just a mile or so from my house...and I'm too cheap to have it delivered (they charge a fee...Pizza Hut.) I get off my butt and drive down there and get it myself! LOL
But it's been probably 2 years since I've even ordered a pizza...Aldi's has a good frozen pizza that the jedis like for a buck ninety nine.
yuh cain't make it yerself fer that cheap...
I know it!! Honestly, it's cheesy and has lots of pepperoni and sausage on it!
It's amazing.
I love Aldis. Kept us from starving a few times! LOL Just kidding, but just barely!
Yeah, but homemade sure is good!
We don't order it anymore, except on very rare occasions. The pizza place we used to occasionally get stuff from closed without any explanation (kind odd), and the last time we ordered from the nearest Pizza Hut (they don't deliver, but we wouldn'ta paid anyway) it cost a stupidly prohibitive amount, like thirty bucks for two fairly small pizzas. I can't rememeber the exact amount, but it was ridiculous!
My cousin and I and the other cousin who came over just had a pizza that was assembled professionally but baked here, in our own oven. $6.00 for a pretty good-sized pie. Good idea.
my buddy Joe brought down a couple pies like that from KC... durn tastey they were...
Heh, I pick up my pizzas. They wouldn't deliver to me anyway, my phone has an out of state area code.
Oh yeah, Pizza Hut is mighty proud of their pizza. I'll settle for the frozen! LOL
But Aldis also has a pizza kit, like Chef Boy Ardee...It's a $1.99 too, makes two hugh pizzas. But we buy mozzerella to go on it and crumble up hamburger too...so it probably costs $5 for the whole thing...still pretty good for two hugh pizzas!
we haven't ordered pizza since we moved to the ridge... nobody delivers 13 mile out...
we make pizza 'bout once a month... mrsnad makes awesome crust from scratch...
I like makin' my own crust. And using plenty of olive oil. Mmmmmm...
We used to have pizza almost every Saturday. We'd made twice as much as dough as we needed, and then on Sunday we'd have fried dough (we call 'em dough daddles) for breakfast with syrup. Very good!
When we lived in Austin, they had these little refridgerated trailers that people would pull into a parking lot and sell pizza fixin's out of...you just told 'em what you wanted and they put it in a sack...ingredients were in baggies and such. You got a crust, sauce and whatever fixin's and you paid for only what you got.
Don't know if they still have those things...
Well...depending on scheduling...would you settle for Applebee's on Portage Road in South Bend?
