Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I can realte. It took me quite a number of romance novels before I realized ~what~ they were doing in them too. ;-P

Gosh...I have a TON of CDs I just don't get around to listening to every day. I'm digging out some I haven't listened to in a long time. Fun! I'm dancin' around the house and singing along while I clean.
I'm sure my neighbors are thinking "Phew! Glad THAT nut is moving away..."

Yikes! That's not helping!
Should I call? He couldn't possibly get ~too~ mad at me, right?

Well, I called but it went to voice mail. I left him a message letting him know we're thinking about him and to drop in when he gets a chance to let us know all is well.

Good.... It isn't ~all~ that odd that he hasn't been online... I think his computer is still broke till tomorrow. But I wonder if they did have to go to the hospital, since they aren't answering.

That is exactly what I thought when it went to voice mail. It only rang twice.
*sigh* I'm praying that everything is OK and if it isn't, that it heads in the general direction of OK soon.

Dang! I didn't know CSI NY was on Wednesday nights! I'll have to make a note of that for next week. We watched the entire Disc 3 of "24", Season 2 last night; all 4 episodes! It's great watching it on DVD cause there are no commercials!!

Evening Ruthie - How is Scruffy-dog getting along?
To: All
NEWS FROM CORIN:
He just called me back and said that he is just now leaving the hospital. Nana's hip did pop out of its socket, but the doctors have fixed that and Corin said she was in good spirits when he left her.
The docs said that if she is able to walk on it tomorrow, she'll be able to go home. So it's GOOD NEWS!
Both the Mrs and Luke are feeling better as well, thank God for that! :-D
Corin's headed to WalMart to get some things for Luke's birthday now, but said he'd check in later if he has time.
I told him no worries if he doesn't, we'd see him in the morning. All in all, our wonderful Dwarf and his family are A-OK.

Evenin' to you, osage!
He's doing very well, aside from an upset tummy from the antibiotics. He's actually been happier and friskier lately than he's been in years. :-D
The stitches come out on Tuesday, so I'll have a better idea of what his head will look like. Until then, he still look like Frankendog.
