Some store-bought vanilla yogurt.

I'm so amazed!

I get mad at my furniture pretty frequently and threaten to throw it all away! LOL Steve always talks me out of it.

I wouldn't mind a couch from Rosie! LOL Or even one from Corin that Luke barfed on!

The only depressing thing for me is that at least a portion of the furniture is stuff that I bought a) with Mom and b) back when I was (comparatively) rich. Nice things that I paid full price for.

I'll be lucky to get half what I paid. Half the furniture is older stuff that was given to me when I got the house, and those things I don't mind giving away, but the other things... Ya know, at this point they're even older and more beat up in some cases than the things I was given, but there's still that part of my brain that says "B-but that cost over a hundred dollars once upon a time!"

And I'm still mourning my glider rocker in advance. *sniff* There is nothing as nice as a really, really good glider rocker!

Mine doesn't have Luke barf.

Does have dog pee, likely.

Glory!

I figured as much...I figured it must be hard on you...but you get to keep a bit of it, don't you?

All of my furniture was given to me. I hate nearly every stick of it.

I've only got cat fur. Miss Kitty is good about not barfing on the furniture. Carpet is another matter.

I'm keeping a wooden stool that I bought unfinished, stencilled roses onto, and shellaced. It isn't perfect, but it's mine!

The rocker...well, if no one buys it before I leave, I may just do a Beverly Hillbillies stunt...heh.

Well, not really.

Steve is on his way home....which is probably a good thing since I've now worked myself into a snit over the furniture again. LOL!! Luckily I can't carry out to the street without him.

I'm logging off...see you guys later!

Cat fur is the reason the rocker is still here, ironically...

The people who bought the bookcase really liked the chair, but he's deathly allergic to cats and said even if it were laundered, it would likely always bother him.

Or maybe he just wanted to keep her from blowing more cash. ;-)

Good job! Sure you can't just tie the chair to the top of Van-sama?

Ugh, it's been a long hard few hours' coding and who knows when I'll get this working...

Maybe I can tie the chair to the top and glue the cat to it...

Hm. We're supposed to get up to 16 inches of snow by tomorrow evening. Hope I don't get stuck at work!

But snow is good!

Check out the TRISMS web site. This link has a section for homework help that has some research links. Go to the History Makers link; it is their middle school program. In those links there are ways to find the information the kids are supposed to be researching within the curriculum. They would be good research links for any middle school aged student, so have Erin check them out.

3-4 hours a day for 'seat work' should be plenty. That in combination with her reading for fun, and additional reading for school is a full school day.

Yeah, Joseph sure is hoping for a snow day. Looks like most of the heavy snow is coming tomorrow night, though, so they may do school tomorrow and cancel for Friday. We'll get up early tomorrow and listen for the cancellations.
